Commissioned Workers Program

Rafael Quinde

From shoes to furniture, high end jeans to affordable work wear, many workers in NYC retail earn commission when they make a sale. Though some commissioned retail workers earn high incomes, nearly all commissioned retail workers face a complicated and often misleading system that determines their livelihood. RAP's work with commissioned workers aims to educate commissioned workers about their rights at work, offer focused job training and build power for commissioned workers to protect and improve their jobs.
